Vendor Spotlight: House of Flowers

It is always such a treat to partner with vendors who don’t just see weddings as their job, but as a opportunity to be creative and outlet their passion for beauty. House of Flowers is the perfect example of these values! Each event we work with them we get to watch as Diana and Amanda Klawitter set up our clients for a successful, gorgeous night, sure to wow their guests with the beautiful flowers they choose to use. Diana and Amanda also love to create space for others to discover the joy of florals, with the various workshops they host and teach throughout the year, Bakersfield has been gifted with their ability to bring people together to create and imagine!

When choosing your florist, our tip to you is to research, research, research!! Spend time gettting to know your own style and also the style of your florist. A great florist is someone who will spend time asking you questions on how you want your big day to look, and not every florist is the best at every style. Ask about flowers in season – sometimes the look you are going for doesn’t match the date you’ve booked! Allow your florist to guide you through color schemes and hear out their ideas for the season. A good florist is up on the latest trends and has a team that can do anything from small orders to full floral garlands.
